At Espresso, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously. On a daily basis we donate substantial amounts of surplus product to Feedback Food Redistribution, a nonprofit, public benefit organization committed to community development through food redistribution in South Africa. In the Western Cape, they provide the means for 58 beneficiary organizations to feed thousands of people each day.

We have been privileged to provide the bread at the annual Cape Town Table of Peace and Unity, a high-profile fundraising event which raises almost a million rand annually for charity. For this prestigious luncheon event we make the Focaccia bread which forms the centerpiece for a 320m long table. The Table of Peace & Unity forms part of the Cape Gourmet Festival.
